Re: [ranchos] Robles

Gee, thanks for the glowing tribute, Helyn,

That is what genealogy is all about, I think, helping others, the old "give and thou shalt receive". Many people have helped me also down through the years, and it has kept me going.  I don't understand those that horde their information like misers.  We will get more done if we all share, no?

I hereby give Emilie, from Port Orchard, WA....Mil Gracias.

For many years, I have not been able to break the "code", and find a link to my maternal grandfather. Just recently, I posted the little information that I had, and received a lead from Emilie. Today, I received the film, and found a sister to my grandfather. (I did not know of her)

Maria Robles from El Refugio - born June 1884 - parents - Antonio Robles born (b abt 1759) &  Martina Carlos de Godoi -        paternal grandparents Antonio Robles (b abt 1739) & Luciana Sanches  (?)     Maternal grandparents Domingo Carlos de Godi (b abt 1739)  & Maria Refugio M? (when I go to the FHC next week, I will get the correct spelling)

Prior to joining the group, I had communicated with Emilie, who would share her vast knowledge, and was instrumental in finding some ancestors for me.

Emilie, you are wonderful....Gracias, y abrazos....Helyn de Castaneda
