Re: [ranchos] Los Alba de los Altos de Jalisco

Ken,

I agree with you, this group provides much valuable information and very rich dialogue. I believe that many in this group are true geneaologists and historians.

But by far, our leader, Joseph Puentes has the greatest influence on this group. Joseph keeps our feet to the fire and doesn't lose sight of this groups mission, to reach back into our ancestry, to share verified information with other group members and to be a source of knowledge, inspiration and pride in whatever, wherever and whoever we descend from.

Thanks Joseph and all the other Ranchos group members who contribute so much to this group. I won't mention any other names because so many of you have so much to offer whether it be DNA, LDS, regional, historical, language, culinary, music, geography, legends, cultural, religion, tradition and so on. We are lucky to belong to such a rich group of Mexico/Americanos. Que viva la Raza!

where are you Ken? Are you anywhere close to Florida? I'm wondering why
Florida has this book? Maybe a primo of yours is there somewhere. Anyway
you can try to do an ILL on this book and just hope that they will do
it. If I wanted to hedge my bet on it being successful you might want to
get a professor friend of yours from a local University to make a
special request for it. Or if you are affiliated [alumni, friend of the
library, continuing ed., adult ed, etc] with a local University I would
do the ILL request through that University rather than through your
local public library. I've heard that a University will be more willing
to do an ILL to another University if they are resistant to doing a
