Una Pendejada: Re: Ashkenazi: Names 's' and 'z'/HOHOHO

yeah I know, but still the diiiiistant possibility exists. small as it maybe. And do I really believe that I'm a Levite, pues no, what do you think I'm a tarugo? but still the tarugo in me wonders about stuff like this and I just know that there are a lot of various ethnic groups from a lot of different countries that all worked together to make "me." And though I "might" not be a Levite "I am this or that or the other". . .and all of them in their time very very very interesting and I'm sure a suffering people if our understanding is correct of what times past were like.

so let me just keep on wondering, sometimes I like to let my Tarugo get the best of me. . .

ps: hey sometimes you got to toss out a pendejada.

pps: Victor when are you coming to NC? let me know and I'll cook you a big pot of Menudo. We'll toss back a few cerbezas and celebrate the next day with some Menudo to cure the crudo, just like it was the New Year.

A ti, Victor y su familia Feliz Navidad.

Joseph,

A 3 step mutation near match with someone from a different
geographical region and with a different surname is quite a loooong
distance. As we say in Spanish: "Una golondrina no hace verano."

This is most likely a case of haplotype convergence and not indicative
of a real genetic affinity.

no, I meant Ashkenazi. . .my spelling is not so good. I am not sure but
some of my y-DNA indications are Ashkenazi, the priests of the tribe of
Levi, a Levite. I don't know how much evidence there is for this but

its

interesting to wonder about:
