Joseph and Victor, I take the liberty of inviting myself to the next Ranchos group reunion be it in North Carolina in California or in Guadalajara with the Mariachis. Siendo Mexicana, estoy bien puesta para una pachanga. Yes as a good Mexican I am always ready for a good fiesta, anywhere, anytime and especially with my primos, primas and compadres. Arriba la fiesta y vamos a la fiesta, I will bring the atole blanco and the tamales de elote. My mother in-law made the best atole blanco and my tia Lupe made the best tamales de elote and I make a darn good pozole if I do say so myself. Felices dias Navideños a todos and to all a good year and good cheer. Atentamente, Alicia Avelar Olmos de Carrillo

And do I really believe that I'm a Levite, pues no, what do you think I'm a tarugo? but still the tarugo in me wonders about stuff like this and I just know that there are a lot of various ethnic groups from a lot of different countries that all worked together to make "me." And though I "might" not be a Levite "I am this or that or the other". . .and all of them in their time very very very interesting and I'm sure a suffering people if our understanding is correct of what times past were like.
so let me just keep on wondering, sometimes I like to let my Tarugo get the best of me. . .

ps: hey sometimes you got to toss out a pendejada.
pps: Victor when are you coming to NC? let me know and I'll cook you a big pot of Menudo. We'll toss back a few cerbezas and celebrate the next day with some
Menudo to cure the crudo, just like it was the New Year.
A ti, Victor y su familia Feliz Navidad.
