I need some help with the translation of this document. specifically
with the 2nd word in the parenthesis. I thought it was Esposa but that
is not correct at least the end of that word dosen't look like "osa" in
Esposa. This Manuel Castaneda from possibly Tlaltenango or Momax but
here dieing in Santa Maria de Los Angeles, Jalisco is quite possibly
the brother of my GGGGG-Grandmother Maria Concepcion Castaneda. If
that turns out to be true then his parents listed as Jose Castaneda and
Maria Melchoza would be my GGGGGG-Grandparents.
The way this document looks to me Manuel was first married to Maria
Melchoza Miramontes. He died when he was 80. Can anyone also figure out
the word right before Viudo?
in the parenthesis I translated it like this: (the ______________
above is the mother of the dead man and his wife [woman] was Maria
Lugarda Diaz)
I can't make out that word. I almost looks to me like the priest made a
mistake and had to put this explanation in the record. Seems kind of
unusal that he was first married to a woman that was named Maria
Melchoza Miramontes and that his mom was named Maria Melchoza.
thanks for any help with this.
Joseph
