Maria said: Hi Joseph, Thanks for uploading those 1817 census images. I found my ancestors Domingo Puentes and Rosalia Diaz on page 3 of the Changanga census. I also found some of their married children. I was curious, did you print selected pages off that film? [[[[[[yes when I saw Domingo and Francisca Puentes along with your Rosalia I knew they belonged to you (or you to them). I was in a big time rush that day since I was actually on duty as a volunteer at the family history center I frequent, but it was a slow day and I had time to do some research. There is a lot more info on that film and I'd encourage you to order it. I've put the Film number at the top of the page. And like I said in my previous post there are like 4 or 5 films with Padrones for the Huejucar area. But I have a question. Is the Changanga area close to Huejucar? I couldn't find it on my map]]]]]]]]]]]]]] Have you found any common ancestors from the reports that I uploaded to the ranchos website? [[[[[[[[I took a look and the names of the relatives didn't reveal themselves to me as being my relation, but I'm so new to this and I have soooooooo many names floating around my sloshy brain that it wouldn't surprise me to later upon a little more study to say. ."But of course here is a link between us." Then again it might not be]]]]]] Let me know and I'll be happy to share whatever printouts I have. I don't have a scanner, but I can get a hold of one if the need arises. Another fact I wanted to mention is that I have some ancestors from Tepechitlan, Zacatecas. That is my Castañeda line in the Sanchez.rtf [[[[[[[[I have Castaneda (how do you get the Tilde to stay over the n???) relatives via my ggggg grandfather Juan Jose Diaz that married Maria Concepcion Castaneda, but I don't know her fathers name to be able to pursue a possible link. And by the way this Juan Jose Diaz is possibly related to your Juan Jose Diaz' but I'm unsure how to go about pursuing this well have to wait and see if this info reveals itself.
