You mentioned in one of your previous e-mail that
you could take pictures with a digital camera of records. A year
ago, during a trip to the library in SLC a French group were taking
pictures in the same way. They had a big digital camera, and a
tripod. I was very interesting about your remark because of course the
potential savings, but more important, many times the images are better in
the reader that in the photocopy machine (I guess is the lighting). I don't know
anything about digital photography. What is the quality of the images?, What
type of camera you should have? What features your camera should have? Any
tips? Do you need the tripod?.
