Was your grandfather's mother's last name Ayala?  If so this may be a 
good start for your search from the IGI database.  You can try 
looking up one of these baptismal records and see if the grandparent 
names match.  No luck on finding Rancho San Justo, but the resource 
you are referencing is available online:
