is it for Durango, Durango?
can you do a sample scan and send it to me so I can put it in the files
area. . .not the whole thing just a page or two, maybe the cover page
where it has some of the leading people?

ps: did you happen to find out what other census records are kept in
Mexico City? Do you think Dr. Lyman Platt's work is comprehensive when
it comes to the Mexico City archive census records for other localities?

looking at the Durango Census of 1777. I was not going to be able to
be there very long so I asked for a copy [xerox] which cost an arm,
anyway....I found out later that there was a copy in Mexico City also.
So, I could have had a copy from the archives in Mexico. I do have a
copy which I have shared with several people thru the years. The
handwriting is so beautiful. It is a wonderful census. I love census
records!!
