When I went to Seville; I was looking thru the Guad. Archives and was looking at the Durango Census of 1777.  I was not going to be able to be there very long so I asked for a copy [xerox]  which cost an arm, anyway....I found out later that there was a copy in Mexico City also.  So, I could have had a copy from the archives in Mexico.  I do have a copy which I have shared with several people thru the years.  The  handwriting is so beautiful.  It is a wonderful census.  I love census records!!
