Ranchos, Group Reunion

That was a great experience to meet with Joseph and Figen during their California trip.

 

Rich, Kitty, Helyn and myself had met once previously and Helynm and I meet regularly at her Fremont FHC. It is always a pleasure to meet and learn from those who are more experienced than myself.

 

Many of us who live in California or for that matter anyone who lives anywhere, be it the US or Mexico could communicate with each other when any of us is taking a trip to some area where other members reside or visit. It's great to belong to an on-line group but nothing takes the place of face to face visits with each other.

 

Josie Treviño graciously invited me to join them in SLC this September but unfortunately I can't make it in September and she also suggested that we could have a group meeting next year when Legado Latino holds it meeting and conference in SLC. I think that's a great idea and a great opportunity to meet and learn from serious geneaologists. If we begin to plan for next year, who knows it could be quite a meeting of friends and family as many of you have found yourselves to be familia.

 

If any of you are ever planning to be in Northern California, please let us know and we can get a group of us together just as we did when Joseph and Figen were here.
