Hi Victor, how exciting to even think that someone from a small group
like this could be a 4 marker match even if it happened a while back
in time.. I find it amazing!! I looked into the files but don't see
your genealogy, are you posted here or anywhere else? I have my
maternal line on Ancestry family tree. In a time reference I can only
take my female line back to abt 1800 and know nothing before that. My
mother was Gutierrez, her mother Villanueva, her mother Mendez, her
mother Fernandez and her mother Barbosa.. the line stops there. To be
honest I was surprised to find this a native line since my mother was
blond and blue eyed and her mother was extremely fair too. They were
from Tamazula Jalisco but the Fernandez line may have come from
somewhere else. I guess 200 years is nothing compared to a history in
genetics that goes back 30,000 years.. but we have to start somewhere
to find we all more alike than different. I did some reading and found
that a few Eskimo bands, the Salish band here in Washinton and a tribe
or two along the California coast line share the same group A, the
group continues through Mexico and down into South America... sure a
good case for migration.
Thank you for taking the time to share the information.
I guess that makes us primos.... sorta?
