Pelicula en Espanol, Sin Dejar Huella

We just saw a great movie tonight. We rent many foreign movies through Netflix and many movies in Spanish. The spanish movies we most enjoy are the ones from Mexico although you must be careful because many of them are pretty trashy. Through Netflix you can read the movie ratings and reviews on their website and put them on your list to order. Many movies from Spain are also good but sometimes I have difficulty understanding their spanish.

The one we saw tonight is called Sin Dejar Huella. I thought of this group as it began in Ciudad Juarez and El Paso TX, they proceed south to Torreon, Veracruz, Yucatan Peninsula and on to Cancun. It shows the juxtaposition of the Mexican/Español and how the myth is perpetuated that the Español is the better educated, more cultured and the Mexican is less than. It has a great story line, is well done and a good ending. I highly recommend it and it has english subtitles for those who don't speak spanish although you would miss out on the great accents and they also speak Mayan.
