Good idea, Deena, I had told Mr. Puentes that I do not have a genealogy program on my computer because it is old and does not have enough memory for one, so I was unable to upload any gedcoms to the Ranchos files. However, I have many trees on World Connect and I offered to send a link to them. I would need instructions on how to do that, since I am not all that computer literate. I got my trees on World Connect by using the online Family Tree program at Ancestry.com. It is very user friendly for me, plus I can store all my trees outside of my computer at a safe place where they won't get lost and where everyone interested can see them. I update them there from time to time as I find more information. I have been contacted by and been able to help others researching the same lines also. Perhaps everyone should upload a GEDCOM file to worldconnect.rootsweb.com.
That way a link could be stored in the file space, but the data would be
stored elsewhere, freeing up a lot of space.
