I just want to say that there is no limitation being imposed on any
members of the group from posting "without limit" all on-topic
messages. I've enjoyed the various threads and it makes me so happy to
see you all extend another 5 star spike that ties the group together
even stronger than it was before. We truely are a Familia. A new goal
I'd like to strive for is for every member of the group to find someone
else in the group that is researching their specific geographic area
and make a bloodline connection with them. Yes I realize that will be
one hard goal to reach but we have to make an effort to get there.
How can we do this?:
well if you haven't found anyone looking in your specific area why not
invite a few people that give every indication of being serious
researchers? I can't show you how to use the various message boards
found around the genealogy net to find and recruit those that have
"serious researcher" written all over them [well that at lease seem to
have that written all over them].
======================
Well I've digressed. . .I was told that the recent "flow" of messages
that started when Carol Lester joined the group was indeed edited. That
there were many more messages that were taken off list. Well all I have
to say is that I am so happy that Carol Lester joined bringing with her
this strong connection to the group that has made us stronger. If any
and all of you primos and primas want to post your messages to this
group about connections you've made or would like to make or what have
you related to finding familia well just do it. This group is for you.
ALL I was saying is that after the initial excitement of finding new
familia has passed and maybe a few more volleys of info have been
exchanged then maybe WE all consider to just think a little about our
"potential" primos/primas in the group that haven't made connections.
Start moving back in the direction of "how can we share our joy
with them so they can experience it firsthand." One way of
basking in the joy and sharing with the others in the group is to use
the experience as a learning experience. Tell not only that connections
were made, but tell us the HOW they were made. Tell us of the
techniques that were used. Tell us about the films that were searched
or how certain info bits lead to deeper revelations of info. Tell us
about that tidbit of ORAL HISTORY that you needed to point you in the
direction of where in Mexico to look. Be imaginative and teach the rest
of us as you celebrate your joy about your recently found new branch to
your tree.
just my thoughts and please do continue the discussion,
joseph
ps: so tell me if I have this right? the new primas in the group are
--- Carol Lester, Angie Godinez, Rosalinda Ruiz, Kitty Cortez, and
Maria Cortez. . .wasn't Helyn in there also? Hey how about me? I
thought I was made an HP? So what is the plan of tying your Campos
families from Tlaltenango into the Campos from other Los Altos areas?
Looks like you might be only one generation away from Tying all the Los
Altos Campos branches together.
