Too many Josefa MOTAs and families

Thanks for the following information.  We don't have any documents for siblings for Josefa Mota yet.  We do have 3 different Josefa Mota on the pedigree chart and hopefully your information will combine at least two of them.  We have the bapt document of Josefa MOTA 10 Jan 1778 doc.  and had on our list for this April's trip to find Maria Agustina 3 Sep 1780 igi, and Francisco Ramon 10 Mar 1775 igi.

Could Joseph Francisco Ricardo MOTA  brother Joseph Marcelino MOTA be the same Marcelino Joseph MOTA Campos 14 Jun 1750 doc?    Joseph Marselino has a daughter Maria Josefa MOTA  5 Nov 1777 igi.  We are looking and printing that document this coming trip. 

 

Your Carlos de Godoy and Gertrudis Raygosa are off in another binder since we had to chop that branch off our family tree.  We keep going back into the binder and pulling documents we made with other connections.  About two years ago we found we had 2 Merced Serrano's and of course we were off and going with the wrong one.  We chopped off that whole branch, but kept all the documents and keep referring to them.  When we meet the week-end of the 19th, I'll bring that binder also.  If Josseph Marsselino MOTA  m. 20 Sep 1771 igi and Marselino Joseph MOTA  bapt 14 Jun 1750 doc, are one and the same, then we can re-connect to that binder.

 

I would suggest we meet somewhere close to a Kinko's or copy store so we can easily make copies of any documents we might share.  I have your phone number but do not have your address yet.  I'll give you a call and get your address off-line.  We will be staying in Fremont and might wind up right next door.  Our son lives close to Glenmoor Elem. School.

 

Joseph,  we input the code 'doc' right after the date in our PAF program and that comes out on our printed pedigree and family group sheets.  Now when we print the family group sheet for Joseph Francisco Ricardo MOTA and Mathiana Sesaria de ROBALCABA we see Maria Josefa MOTA 10 Jan 1778 doc,  Maria Agustina MOTA Rovalcava 3 Sep 1780 igi,  and Francisco Ramon MOTA Robalcava 10 Mar 1775 igi.  When we sent you our files, I forgot to check off notes and sources so hence no documentation on those records.  And I was surprised that the 'doc and igi' didn't come out in the date line.  After our upcoming trip to SLC we will gradually update the files again.  We won't do them all at once again.  Is there anyway of downloading an ancestral file thru PAF which would connect the generations and list the children?  Then one ancestral file would work instead of 37 dependency files.

 

Looking forward to meeting both Alicia and Helyn.  Hopefully we can connect all together, but if not this trip to the Bay Area, possibly next time.  We get down there about once a month.

Yee Gads!!    there is also a Josefa Nepamucena MOTA  13 Sep 1789 doc, and a Maria Josefa Guadalupe MOTA 7 Apr 1795 doc,  which are in our Serrano Binder we had to chop off.
