Guillermo - " x times removed" is an Anglo-Saxon family term associated with distance in a relationship. Historically,  Hispanic families did not generally practice distancing, shunning, banishment, etc., therefore, Hispanic families did not use such family descriptions. This continues throughout present day Latin America.
