Alicia,

A section of what I'm transcribing contains also just text and I plan
to create a separate text file for that.  Excel is not very well
suited for that and besides if we add all the text into one of the
columns then we won't be able to manipulate the data as data.

About the Recto and Verso it simply refers to the front and back of
each sheet.  We have to use those numbers instead of the numbers that
are inscribed in the document itself because with the Recto-Verso
numbers we can go back and locate any specific piece of information
that we need to verify.
