old-Spanish dialect NM

Yeah, my mom, born near Magdalena, New Mexico, also used old Spanish 
words:
estijeras instead of tijeras
estenazas instead of tenazas

The following site, states:

She said muncho instead of mucho.

My dad who was from Mexico thought it was funny.
