Ranchos Joseph....Man of the year!!!!

Joseph, I nominate you for man of the year for putting this group together. You have been the catalyst for many wonderful connections within the members

A few days prior to the meeting, just out of the blue, I sent an e-mail to Robert in Sacramento, asking if he knew the three people I had mentioned, with his same surname. Robert responded that the names were of his grandparents, and his aunt. Needless to say, I got "goose bumps" when I read his message.

Roberts grandparents, and my parents had been friends for many years, but sadly, lost touch after the "war years". The third person in my inquiry, is his aunt, which we have now realized is Godmother to Robert, my sister, and me.

We had e-mails transmitting twice a day, then I realized that Roberts father is my sisters Godfather. Robert made arrangements for a second reunion of the day with his family.

Our Nina invited Alicia, and me for a reunion dinner, with her family including Roberts father, his uncle, and aunt. Ahhhh

all such wondeful people.

Over the years, I had made attempts to find "Nina", but the one person that could have put us in touch did not follow through.

Alicia is such a delightful lady, and is now part of my new found family. We were having such a wonderful time, but we had that long drive back to the Bay Area.

Who knows?? Robert and I may have common ancestors, that his grandfather, and my mother would not have known.
