Actually,
the Basque cook a dish like our menudo but they don't mix chile in it.
My wife cooks a great kettle of menudo and she is from Jalisco.
that sounds like an invitation to me.
Also,
I voted to be less strict since many of us have parents or grandparents
from different Mexican states.
the less strict part of it has nothing to do with geographical
location. This group will never evolve into a a larger geographical
location group. I really think that we are now taking in a way too
large area as it is but since we are such a small group (about 70) and
still making connections I am encouraged that we are not way way to big
in area.
the less strct part had only to do with letting people into the group
with no promise at all of providing their genealogical work thus
turning us into another Rootsweb like situation. If it turns out that
the majority want us to turn into another Rootsweb I think I might
consider turning the Moderatorship over to someone else in the group.
