que te dije!
I told you that you and Steven would probably hook up. I'm glad you
have caught his interest as now you and those other cousins he
mentioned will have plenty to talk about. If possible it
would be way cool if you could keep the "non personal" discussions on-list
but you guys have to decide that one. Its just good to see some of
my effort paying off in discussion among the members. Anyway if you
keep it on-list very fine and if you go off-list esta bien tambien.
Be ready for the rush of material and in your research if you find that
you expand to other geographical areas of Jalisco, Zacatecas, and/or
Aguascalientes please share this info as well as others might care to
join your primos network.
oh by the way tambien soy Padilla but my Padillas are from the Juarez,
Chihuahua area and maybe came from Los Altos but I don't have any proof
of that.
oh another thing that would be so very cool would be this DNA thing you
mentioned. It would be great if you get sold
on the DNA testing if you would then try to do a "Los Altos de Jalisco"
DNA sub-project within the Mexico Surnames project by Gary Felix. Maybe
you came into the group just at the right time to motivate other folks
to invest a few "shekles" (My DNA said I have a very small % of Jewish
in me. . .shalom) anyway invest a few shekles to get some of the
possible relations confirmed via DNA. . .if you all decide to do this
please let me know before you proceed as I'd like to talk to you
beforehand. I want to make sure the "tiny" bit I know about it is comon
knowledge with you.
thanks,
Joseph from Rancho de Animas, Santa Maria de Los Angeles, y Colotlan,
Jalisco/Sombrerete, Villanueva, y Zacatecas, Zacatecas
