Re: [ranchos] Mezquital del Oro ?

Thank you for the link on Mezquital del Oro.  However I am looking for El Mezquite municipio de Fresnillo.  I see it on the map of Mexico Zacatecas map.  It is cut off on the very right hand side of the map.  I am still looking for information on the history of this town.  I will also update my history to include the information my mother brought back from Mexico.  I have new surnames and places to post.

long link might need to be rebuilt in the URL window.

this might not be the same town you are looking for but here is one town:

Mezquital del Oro in the southern section of Zacatecas but not very
close to Jerez or Fresnillo. For more details go to the "links" area of
the group and under maps go to the "Jalisco and Zacatecas Maps" link
which is my homepage. From my home page go to the "Tepechitlan" map and
look due north of Guadalajara and you'll find this same Mezquital del
Oro and right next to Mayahua you see another Mez_____ something town.

have fun,

joseph
