Hello fellow ranchos members,
Greetings from El Paso, Tx. my name is Yolanda and I'm searching for my husbands family in Zacatecas and one lost sheep born in Tlajomulco, Guadalajara. Our lost sheep Longinos Bugarin (my husbands grandfather} was born about 1868, his parents were Mateo Bugarin b. 1824 in Tlatenango and Claudia De Avila b. in Tepechitlan.
Mateo and Claudia had six other children; Jose Ponciano 1850, Jose Casiano 1852, Maria Florentina 1854, Maria Dionicia 1856, Jose Zenon 1857 and Maria Clemencia 1867 all born in Tepechitlan except Longinos. Mateo's parents were Jose Francisco Bugarin b. about 1785 in Tlatenango and Maria Ygnacia Gregoria Mota b. about 1792 in Tepechitlan.
Claudia's parents were Jose Andres De Avila and Maria Marcelina Guadalajara who were married June 13, 1821 in Tepechitlan.
they had six other children; Maria Roberta b. 1825, Jose Gregorio b. 1822, Jose Luciano b. 1823, Maria Silveria b. 1827, Jose Hermenegildo b. 1829 and Lucena ?? all born in Tepechitlan. I have no record on Claudia as of yet.
The next generation is Jose Francisco's father,
Pedro Bugarin born about 1750 in Tlatenango, {can't find his parents yet} he married Maria Gertrudis Carrillo and had 12 other children;
Jose Coronado b. 1778 in Tlatenango, Visente Ferrer Potenciano b. 1763 in Tepechitlan, Juana Maria de las Maravillas b. 1765 in Tepechitlan, Maria Francisca Xaviera b. 1767 in Tlatenango, Joseph Gabriel b. 1770 in Tlatenango, Francisco Leonicio b. 1772 in Tepechitlan, Jose Timoteo b. 1775 in Tepechitlan, Jose Antonio b. 1777 in Tlatenango, TWINS Josefa Lina and Maria Del Carman b. 1781 in Tlatenango, Juan de Dios b. 1784 in Tlatenango and Francisco Tomas b. 1786 in Tlatenango. I did find spouses for many of this line and their children but will submit my info ASAP.
An interesting anecdote of the Bugarin surname is the change in the spelling, for you see my husband, his mother Sofia and her father Longinos all spell the name Bugarini, sounds Italian, huh.
I find it amusing tothink that all of my Bugarini's think they are of Italian decendancy when it seems that the Bugarin surmane comes from Spain by way of Russia, [Bukharim] and all of their ancestors were Bugarin.
Hasta Pronto, Yolanda "Geri"
