Hello, Janet. I remember you from a message board in Genealogy.com .
Unfortunately, we found out that there are no close matches in our
family tree. Something interesting, I noticed, by looking at message
boards, that there are a lot, and I mean A LOT, of Curiel's in the
area of Atenguillo-Guachinango-Mascota. You know, with all the
people researching Curiel ancestors from Atenguillo and close
villages we can create a new group exclusive for this surname in
this area.
That reminds me. Joseph, is it ok to invite another genealogist to
this group? I am very sure that he is serious about his research.
And yes, he is probably a distant Curiel primo.

Family Tree from the state of Jalisco. The Iglesias family are
originally from the little towns of Guachinango, Atenguillo, and
Ameca. I noticed that you have Curiel as one of your surnames. My
Iglesias family members married a lot of Curiel's . . . just
interested to see if there is a connection.

have any family members down here that are Tapia but I sure do know
some. . . I want to say that they are from Jalisco . . . They are
very tall and light skinned.
