Re: Greetings and Introduction

Hello, possible primo.

I will have this is the Cervantes family that I have on my file.
Marcelo Cervantes, married Maria Salazar before 1821. So far, I have
verified four relatives. I have found others on the IGI, but I don't
put them on my file until I see with my own eyes the actual
microfilm or document where they are described. The children on my
file are: Cruz Cervantes born aroun 1821 in Los Pozos and married
with Maria Rita Apodaca, Maria Guadalupe Cervantes born around 1825
in San Marcos and married with Nemecio Apodaca, Ysidro Cervantes,
born around 1832 in San Marcos and married with Martina Gil, and
Higinia Cervantes born around 1846 and never married according to
her death certificate from 1916. As soon as I find some free time, I
will order some microfilms to find the baptim documents of the
Cervantes kids. I approximated their birth date from their marriage
or death records.

By the way, Angel, Zacoalco is actually a big municipio. There are
about 25,000 zacoalquenses living there, without including the
hundreds, maybe thousands who live in the U.S. I want to stay
optimistic, but while checking baptism microfilms from Zacoalco, I
found a lot of Cervantes children from other families. Hopefully,
they all descend from the same ancestors. Keep on looking for your
Cervantes ancestors as I'll do with mine and we will probably find a
link soon, primo. Unfortunately, I haven't found Cejas in my family
file, but that doesn't neccesarily mean that they are not out there.

By the way, where do you live at? I live in LA County.
