Hello,
I met a family named Huizar,
They said that there name is from German roots. The father came over from Europe to the USA to Mexico. His original name is Wizard, ( wuizar, in spanish ) so when he arrived in Mexico he changed his name to Huizar. I wonder where this root name comes from that was all ready here in Mexico. Have you found a common region in Europe where this name comes from. I am good friends with this family and they proudly claim there German heritage. I hope this helps you out.
