Bautismos are for legitimate children.  Bautismos de hijos naturales (natural children) are for illegitimate and/or out-of-wedlock children, in other words what was once referred to as "bastard" children.  Priests would keep the two separate.  The naturales were looked down upon somewhat.  But at the same time, I've seen both legitimate and illegitimate baptized children in the same book.
