dictionary because of the spelling, the word is: "Hocico" and it
means snout.

I'm surprised I could not find the word "osico" in my dictionary.
But as I recall, it is not really bad in itself. Correct me if I am
wrong, but it means "snout" or the mouth of an animal. What makes it
"bad" is who says it, to whom, why and how. When the mother said
it, it just surprised the students because they didn't expect it of her.
It's not something a nice person would say to others.
As a teacher, I have heard it on the playground and they were
fighting words.
