My abuelita, who was from Jerez, used to say "El que come y canta, loco se levanta." That was because when I would visit her and have breakfast with her, I would sing or hum and wiggle around on my seat. I remember asking my tia Carmen, what that meant. I realize now, as an adult, that I needed to have it explained to me, so I could process the information. I do recall "understanding" what my abuelita said. Marge:)
