Re: [ranchos] Los Ausentos

I don´t think they are related with my family. Mine are from ranchos belonging to the municipality of Jesus Maria and Arandas in  also in Jalisco.   Some restaurant and taquerias (because my cousins point it to be a diference) names are "Jalisco", "Mexico", "Mexico Lindo", some of these are in a town named Killean (or something that sounds similar) Tx., one in Austin, Tx. is "Arandina" in honor of Arandas, Jal. Those in Virginia I don´t know the name yet.   Leticia Leon wishes you a year of realizations and hope.

Leticia,

Up here in Washington State, in the Northwest US, there are about 320 Mexican restaurants that are owned and staffed by people from a little place in Mexico called Cuautla, Jalisco.  Are you familiar with Cuautla?  On the map, it looks like it is way out in the middle of nowhere southeast of Guadalajara. It looks like most of the people in that town came up here.
