Re: [ranchos] Re: Alvarez del Castillo

Even though I am not an Alvarez del Castillo, it is a surname that marries into my family and is present in Arandas and Ayo el Chico. I and a few others have traced the surname to Zamora, Michoacan. That was their original "nest." The Gutierrez de Robles, Morfin, and Cueva surnames were also from there. My cousin Tony Campos was also from there. He has been researching the Zamora, Jacona, Tlazazalca, and Tangancicuaro, Michoacan, area for the past 35 years.

Subject: [ranchos] Re: Alvarez del Castillo

Hello Joseph, I'm not studying it but have found 4 female Alvarez del
Castillo in Tamazula Jalisco. They are from app. the 1730's to 1760
time period and 2 marry into the Gutierres de Robles, 1 into the
Morfin and 1 into the de la Cueva families. I have decendants but
not thier parents.
