Well, Marge, Our obsession could lead to illness if we are not careful. I find that when I am on a tear, I spend too many hours poring over records on the internet with the glare of the screen and artificial lights, at the FHC, reading, taking notes, etc and neglect my sleep and exercise and diet. I notice that my eyesight has really suffered lately. I need to remember to take frequent breaks, etc It seems too that I plan my life now around trips to the haunts of my ancestors and cemeteries and Salt Lake City and countless university, city, and state libraries. I risk snakebites in old cemeteries, etc. One rattlesnake bite could ruin my whole day, my husband says.
