Yes, I have it. The VRI is different from the IGI.

You can search the VRI at:
http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/frameset_search.asp?
PAGE=vr/search_VR.asp&clear_form=true

You can search the IGI at:
http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/frameset_search.asp?
PAGE=igi/search_IGI.asp&clear_form=true

I think there is a small overlap betweent the two but it is very
small. And when you compare the IGI data vs the VRI data, the VRI
usaually has more.

As far as Totatiche (since this is my area of study and I am familar
with this area), these films are included in VRI:

Christening - Totatiche, Jalisco, Mexico
C617077 1798-1820 1164017
C617078 1820-1833 1164018
C617079 1833-1846 1164019

Marriage - Totatiche, Jalisco, Mexico
M617071 1755-1807 1164031
M617072 1807-1853 1164032
M617073 1853-1883 1164033
M617074 1883-1895 1164034

I'll see if I have a complete list of VRI films.

Has anyone in this group ordered the CD titled: Middle America-

Mexico-Vital Records Index from the Family Search Website?

This is the item # and cost and I wonder if it would be anything

different that's not on the IGI.

 The set of 4 data CD's and viewer can be purchased for $10.00

online or by calling toll free 1-800-537-5971 and asking for item
#50163. It can also be ordered on the Internet at
