Re: [ranchos] Re: Special request for data from Jalostotitlan

Thanks to all who are able to help me out.  I wanted to make sure I was VERY specific about which records I needed.  What I should have done was provide the specific microfilm I was referring to.

The records I need are only from Jalostotitlan, NOT in San Miguel el Alto.  I have also done research in both towns, but more in San Miguel el Alto, so I already have a lot of San Miguel el Alto.  The records I need are not in San Miguel el Alto, they are in Jalos.

So, does anybody out there have this microfilm:

Jalostotitlan, Jalisco--Bautismos de hijos legítimos 1806-1815 -  FHL INTL Film [ 0279264 ]

This one has the key information for one of Santo Toribio Romo's ancestral lines.  Once I complete his pedigree, I'll research his life and integrate his genealogy into an interesting article.  And of course I'll make sure to share it on Ranchos.

Sincerely,
Steven H.

The only information that I have is what I have read in some of the Jalos Web sites.  You probably already have it, I know it isn't much, but I hope it will help:
Padre Toribio had two brothers and a sister: Roman, Francisco, and Maria
Francisco had daughter named Margarita Romo Enriquez.
Padre Toribio has a niece, Doña Juanita Romo.  She owns one of the stores  that caters to the visitors to the shrine.
