I just want to thanks both Marge Vallazza and John Gonzalez for their
help in translating the message I send to people that express their
interest in joining the group.
Unless some of you have some very strong feelings about changes this is
the way its going to be. . .but if you do have a strong opinion

The expectation is that as soon as you are comfortable, you
will introduce yourself and describe the surnames, the geographic
areas, and the time periods you are researching.
If you decide to join the group, you must acknowledge your
willingness to comply with our two simple requirements:
1.-You have done, or are willing to do, your own research. There are
people who like to take advantage of others' hard work and, in turn, do
not contribute anything. If you feel that you can’t or won’t meet
this requirement, then I suggest a multitude of message boards
available at Rootsweb.
2.-You are willing to submit your genealogical line so we can add it to
the “non public” area of the group.
However, if you have any reservations about the requirements to
join this group, take some time and think about it carefully. In the
meantime, please look at the group's home page and read the messages
which are open to the public.
