John,

My name is Edward Serros and you can review my c.v., http://members.tripod.com/
eserros/new_page_7.htm, at your leisure. I have done an "extensive" review of my
Zacatecas roots, Cerros and Felguerez, which you can review as attachments in a separate
email I have sent to you; these materials are also available on this site. My grandmother,
Maria Felguerez, was the illegitimate daughter of Santiago Felguerez, who was also the
illegitimate son of one the Felguerez family, hacendados in Valparaiso and Colotlan---a
complicated story. My grandfather, Jose Cruz Cerros, and my grandmother came to the US
in 1919 or so. I have much data on the Felguerez but the Cerros genealogy has been
difficult, to say the least, since I can not find where my great grandfather, Francisco
Cerros, came from before going to Valparaiso. Oral Cerros family history suggests
Colotlan but I could not find any Cerros in Colotlan in the 1830-1840's, the time when he
was born.

Any informatin you can give me about your Cerros/Serros roots would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Ed Serros
