Steve, I caught the name Tangancicuaro in your message. Is that a city or a lake? I have an ancestor who's marriage record says she is from Tangancicuaro and I can't find it in Jalisco? Could this be what I've been looking for, a different state!
thank you, Linda

I checked those CD's, too. The DVD's (Jalisco and Michoacan) give a lot of information about some of the ranchos on the states. They missed some places, like Tapalpa and Sayula in Jalisco, or the lake of Tangancicuaro in Michoacan, but in general it is worth it. Some songs are nice, but they had to chose better performers in some of them.
