I agree, John, everyone should give pinole a try!

Tarahumaras fame as runners is well known, but I've always heard that 
they frequently use peyote, their sacred cactus, to increase their 
stamina in long distance running across the desert.  Maybe they carry 
two little pouches: one filled with pinole and one filled with peyote?
