It never hurts to have your genealogy in "many" places so that 50 generations from
now maybe someone will find a misc copy

Joseph,

Please accept my apologies for your email mistakenly being transferred
to my "answered" folder when I indeed did not answer your second
message. I am sorry about that.

Yes, indeed, any contributor has the option of substituting/replacing
an earlier contribution with a more up to date work. We do that a
number of times a year with various authors and compilers.

Your question about access to the various families covered in a
particular work is a very good one. Our library typically tries to
provide the best and most complete access to the widest range of
subjects covered in any one book. Our catalogers take the extra time to
put a subject heading (sometimes called a subject tracing) in our online
catalog for every prominent family detailed in a particular work. Some
books we have cataloged have more than two dozen family names
traced/listed as subject headings. So it would be absolutely no problem
listing all four of the prominent families covered in your work.

Thank you again for contacting us. And I appreciate your patience in
waiting for this response.

thanks so much. . .I'm wondering if I send my work in now will there be

an opportunity to "substitute" a more advanced copy of the same work
later? Another question is how will the materials be cataloged? For
example if I call it the genealogy for the "Puentes, Diaz, Perez y
Lopez" families will someone 20 generations from now be able to go to
your library and do a word search for any of those 4 surnames and find

this work?

thanks again,

Joseph Puentes
