Hi, Joseph, It is a death certificate from February 7 (?) (siete) 1822. He died of la grippe (gripa?).(or colic). He was the second husband of Mrs. Ramires, his widow, or it was his second marriage, I can't quite figure that out. It does look like his mother was Ynes Flores de Lisar. If any of you have time could you look at this record and tell me what you think Simon Torres' wife's complete name is? Seems to me that it is Maria Ynes Flores de ???Lisar. . .Lisas. . .Livar. . .Livan. . .???
What is "Colico?"
Can anyone make out the date of the record?
shucks if anyone has time maybe you could give whatever details you have time to decipher.
thanks,
joseph
ps: Pedro Torres was my GGGG grandfather via his marriage to my GGGG grandmother Maria Gertrudis Marquez and their daughter my GGG grandmother Eduarda Torres--->GG grandfather Cecilio Puente--->G grandfather Julio Puente--> grandfather Julio Puentes
AND I also believe Pedro Torres was my GGGG grandfather when he later married Maria Josefa Ramirez after Gertrudis Marquez died (most likely) and their son Rafael Torres my GGG grandfather--->Andrea Torres GG grandmother-->Francisco Diaz G grandfather--->Virginia Diaz grandmother.
