HISPANICS WHO OWNED SLAVES

Dr. Jerry D. Thompson of Laredo is looking for information on Hispanics who owned slaves.
His interest is primarily in Hispanics from Texas who had slaves but he would also be interested
in those from Mexico who were slave holders.

Dr. Thompson is a professor of History at Texas A&M University in Laredo and is an authority
on the U.S. Civil War in the Southwest
