Re: [ranchos] Poll results for ranchos

okay things are heating up. genealogy is something that happens over a long time period of time so between now and say Feb 2006 when I reconsider this topic in the form of another poll maybe we can start gathering up enough votes to swing the majority in respect to the percentages I indicated to be a valid vote. Afterall it wasn't like I didn't give the group a chance to change things. And as for less strict, hmmm, the axe is still going to swing on about 10 members come 3/15/2005 if I don't at least get the smallest amount of communication.

thanks for your participation. . .i like passion,

joseph

Re: [ranchos] Poll results for ranchos I totally agree with Mr. Duarte. I understand the importance of documentation but I believe for our purposes that communication is of utmost importance, all things considered---availability of computers and software, as well as understanding of genealogy procedures.

Those that have learned to search and document can teach those who follow. We need more people, not less.

Respectfully,

Less strict.

I believe we could get more members, and more
information, if we were less strict on membership.
