On the left is Rich Cortez, right/back is his wife Kitty. The left /front is Helyn and right/front is yours truly, Alicia.

 

Yesterday in San Jose, Kitty and Rich Cortez, Helyn and myself met at Chevys for the first time. Kitty, Rich and Helyn the experienced genealogists shared many of their tips and secrets for researching while in Salt Lake. I discovered that one of the reasons I'm not moving as fast as most people are is that the area of Nochistlan does not have many records extracted or at least not as many as the other parts of Jalisco and Zacatecas.

 

Rich, Kitty and Helyn, thanks so much for your help and support, I came home yesterday evening and spent hours on the internet doing research and formatting my documents to take to Salt Lake in three weeks, according to Kitty's tried and tested methods.
