Hey, Just left Salt Lake City yesterday, and whenever I'm in town I stay at the Howard Johnson Express, On N. Temple & 300 West. It's $40 a night for a queen or king size bed, and about 5-10 walk to the Family History Library. There are hotels a block or two closer, but if cost is an issue, I'd stay at Howard Johnsons.
