Re: [ranchos] Primo: Pedigree Resource Files

great. . .maybe you are related. Its good to have more than one person working on a particular line. That way just as you have pointed out some possible errors might be discovered and corrected.

Invite him to consider the Ranchos group.  With all those ties to the Los Altos area I'd be surprised if hes not related to some in the group.

ps: be patient on the DNA results sometimes it can take a number of weeks after the time they say they can do it.

Joseph,

I have seen part of this file. He has my
gggrandfather and gggrandmothe listed: Felipe Gonzales
and Lucia Flores, but that is where it ends. Lucia's
sister is listed Maria Eduviges Flores and her husband
and a few descendants. I feel that some of the dates
on the listed are incorrect also. I have emailed this
gentleman and he has responded to me, but I am still
in the process of sending him some information so he
may respond to my inquiries.

Felipe and Lucia were from Hacienda El Mezquite,
Fresnillo de Gonzalez Echeverria, Zacatecas.

P.s. My husband has submitted his DNA and I am
awaiting anxiously to see the results.

I just found something that is probably old news for
most of you. I was
looking around the Pedigree Resource File (PRF) and
found this person:

Submitter:

if you click on the "Submission Search: number" you
will go to a search
window and just click on "search" and you will find
all the submissions
(his .gedcom) that he has submitted.

I would be amazed if this guy isn't a Primo to
several of you from Los
Altos. If you all have time you might want to look
around and have a
look at a few of his surnames. If any of you get to
your local FHC
sometime soon and happen to be looking at disc 88
maybe there is more
information on him as in possibly an email address.

If anyone has questions on how to use PRF after this
very brief
description I'd be glad to go into a little more
detail.

joseph
