my haplogroup

Hi Ed,

Thank you for responding and for your insights.  It has spurred me on  
to more research.
After much searching I finally know my haplogroup.  I went back to  
FamilyTree/Ancestry.com and looked up my results again.  They did not  
list my haplogroup but referred me to a Haplogroup motifs website

My haplogroup is U5a1a.  From my mtDNA.  You are correct in assuming  
my dad is dead.  His sister is also dead and left no biological  
children.  My brother will give me his YDNA sample to research with.
