Re: [ranchos] Re: Retonos de Espana en la Nueva Galicia

I called the library system in El Paso abotu the book mentioned below.

If anyone can get to any of these places, there is a copy of the book at these places:

In Brownsville, TX at  Brownsville U.

Stanford U. in the genealogical library

At Berkely U. in Berkely, CA

At Iowa U., IA

Also in the Cal State library system in California

The librarian told me that the book is usually in the reference library because of what it is.

Ray and Jose,

I am interested in the Jauregui, Xauregui, Macias and Yñiguez and more specifically from the Nochistlan/Tlachichila Zac regions as I have all 3 in my or my husband's lines.

Ray; I too am interested about the Iniguiz line. One of my ancestors is an Iniguiz and I know so little about them. Where is Nueva Galicia ? My ancestor (Macias) are said to be from Galicia, in Spain. I presume that Nueva Galicia is in the new world but don't know where.

With respect,

Maria,

As you have volunteered, would you check what your volume has for; "Jauregui (or Xauregui, Jaure, Xaure), and I(Y)niguez".
