First, allow me to apologize for my Spanish as I try to communicate
this:
Aunque se como leer un poquito el espanol, no porque lo estudie, si no
porque siempre tuve interes en el idioma de mis anticedentes, se que hablo e
escribo/hablo como una persona no muy educada...
Even though I know how to read and write Spanish a
little bit, not because I studied it, but because I have always had an interest
in the language of my ancestors, I know that I don't write/speak as if I was
well educated.
En realidad, la mayoria de nosotros nos encontramos en Estados Unidos
porque nuestros padres tenian que venir por razones economicos. Somos de
gente humilde. Nuestros padres, aunque siempre hablaban espanol, no lo
hablaban con "educacion" de libros o de universidad. Cuando leo lo que
escribes y como lo escribes, quisiera tener el mismo poder que tienes sobre el
idioma espanol.
The reality is that the majority of us who are in the
United States are here because our parents had to come for economic
reasons. We are of humble origin. Our parents, even though they
spoke Spanish all of their lives, did not speak with the "education" that comes
from a university. When I read what you write and how you write, I wish I
had a similar command over the Spanish language.
Espero que sigues comunicandote con nuestro grupo. Por mi parte, me
encanta leer como escribes en Espanol. Ya ves, este grupo es sumamente
inteligente, y amables....todos estan para ayudar...
I hope that you continue to communicate with our
group. As for me, I enjoy reading how you write in Spanish. As you
can see, our group is very intelligent and nice.....and all of us are here to
help each other....
