The Salt Lake City Hispanic Conference will be on Saturday,
Oct 14, 2006. So far I have 11 people who have expressed an interest in
going. Mickey Garcia and I are planning to arrive in SLC on Sunday, Oct
8th and stay until the following Sunday, Oct 15th.....anyone who wants to go can
stay as long or as little as they want.....the room rate remains the same for
however number of days you stay.
I wish
I could attend your next meeting in March 2006 but I have to be in Switzerland
for the arrival of my newest grandchild in April. Mickey and I have
discussed going to one of your gatherings.......one thing about us....we are
always ready to go when it concerns genealogy! :-)
I will
keep everyone posted on any information I receive on the SLC
trip.

I drafted an agenda for our
next meeting in March 2006. I can e-mail you that and if you think
others would be interested you can post it to the group. Overall, I
think it turned out very well. We had a good turnout and the group may
grow. I've had others express an interest in attending the next
meeting. absolutely great. . .I only wish I could be
close by so I could attend. Please do get as many as possible to attend. Maybe
you all could have one later just a little further South so that more members
could attend. Or maybe the S. Cal members could get their own meet up going.
how many are going to SLC in 2006? what were the dates
again?
